The Old Mill Park is a 20 acre park with beautiful mountain views. The park features soccer fields, baseball fields, swing sets, and a path straddling the perimeter of the park. The park is a spectacular spot for a picnic, a walk or a free play. It is adjacent to Lamoille Valley Rail Trail which, in winter time, functions as a snowmobile trail.
In 2014, the Lamoille Valley Rail Trail will undergo redevelopment and be upgraded to a four-season use. The redeveloped trail will go approximately 7 miles in each direction. Going west, the trail will go from the Old Mill Park to Cambridge. Going east, the trail will connect to Morrisville. The trail will be open to bicyclists, pedestrians, equestrians and other non-motorized users. In the winter, the trail will remain functional as a snowmobile trail.
From Main Street, take Railroad Street and continue past Railroad Street bridge to the intersection of Railroad St and Lendway Lane. At the start of Lendway Lane, take a right and enter the park.
